The mission of the International GENNESYS Congress on Nanotechnology and Research Infrastructures is to establish a strategic partnership between nanomaterials research laboratories, universities, industry and the European research infrastructures. A well coordinated nanomaterials science and technology program needs to be integrated into research infrastructures in the whole of Europe and in close regional, national and international collaboration to the welfare of the society and of the economy.
